Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Verdant website, mobile experience, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Verdant Is
Verdant is an online booking marketplace that connects homeowners in South Florida with independent contractors offering pool cleaning, landscaping, pressure washing, window cleaning, and related home services. Verdant does not itself perform the services; contractors are independent third parties.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to book services or manage subscriptions. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
4. Bookings, Pricing, and Payment
Prices are shown at the time of booking. Submitting a booking creates a service request; Verdant will confirm scheduling and assign a contractor. Account credit issued by Verdant (including referral credit) is non-cash, non-transferable, has no cash value, and can only be redeemed toward eligible Verdant bookings.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may request to cancel or reschedule a visit by contacting us. Cancellation windows and any fees may apply and will be communicated at or before scheduling. Verdant may cancel or reschedule when necessary (weather, contractor availability, safety) and will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
6. Referral Program
Referral credit is issued to the referring customer only on the referred customer's first successfully completed job. Verdant may void, reverse, or withhold credit that appears to result from fraud, self-referral, or abuse. The program may be modified or ended at any time.
7. Independent Contractors
Contractors on Verdant are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Verdant. Verdant screens contractors but does not supervise the day-to-day performance of individual jobs.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting false information, harassing contractors, attempting to access other users' accounts, or interfering with the platform's operation.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdant Marketplace Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Verdant Marketplace Inc. and its affiliates harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Verdant agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
